Week 13 -17 Aug 2012
Market This Week Last week was flat and the Nifty closed at 5320, down 2.55 points. Despite the markets being flat we are happy that lot of clients made money with our recommendations that rallied between 5-8%. This week, the NIFTY would have strong resistance at 5,400 and the market would be flat again. Reasons being, global markets are in a sideways trend; F&O data suggests that domestic players had some huge sell-off covering their positions. However the FII’s were amongst the buyers last week. Thus the market is in a breathing stage and will remain mostly flat this week. Stock specific movements would be seen and must be en-cashed. Markets do not have liquidity problems as seen from the FII statistics below.

Strategy For The Week
  • Flat markets give stock specific rallies. Investors and traders should take advantage of this week to make money. Have a stock specific approach and trade.
