||Last week the NIFTY closed at 9588 registering a loss of 0.83% over previous week. The slight weekly fall was expected as the markets are trying to factor in the GST impact a bit. This consolidation with a slight negative bias is likely to continue over a few more weeks. However, there are inflows into the market from domestic investors primarily into the banking, Pharma, consumer, healthcare, and NBFC’s etc. sectors. So nothing really to worry. The only risk for the markets could be the global scenarios where the FII’s start pulling away their money. In that case we would see a correction but note that the correction would never be very steep. Nothing specific for this week, the NIFTY is likely to continue with its consolidation. All the best!
